Adieu to a broken heart!

I raise a toast,
To my freedom,
To finally be rid of you,
Body, mind and soul.
My friends tell me,
Not to harvest such negativity,
If only they knew what it means to have your dreams crushed.
I wake up everyday,
A stronger woman,
Nobody's lived without their heart broken once or twice,
What makes me so special to walk away without a scratch?
You? Well you never had a heart to start with.

Humans are surprisingly resilient to what can be heavy torment. Great poem.
