Just having light hearted thoughts.

Reverie

Dreaming that the ocean floor
swims above my head, thoughts
come in waves, rippling
around my convoluted mind.

Inverted skies beneath my feet,
sun warms my soles, lightly
do I dance, pirouetting
over silken clouds.

Travelling to the horizon
prising blues apart, slipping
through a space and embracing
an enveloping world.

Rich and textured tactile wordings
portraying a state of being in one's
person somewhere blue.

Yow! "Inverted skies beneath my feet"
wonderful, wonderful, line. Enough said, I just want to savor the poem again.

I love that first stanza, I often think of my mind and thoughts as terribly convoluted, a lovely dreamy feel, I love the sea and when I do get the courage for that first swim, the freedom water gives me. Enjoy your light hearted thoughts as they enchant.
