Some animals are other animals in disguise. Some animals intend to destroy for the sake of it while others become the perceived villains.

Some Sort of Politician

Hey baboon are you some sort of politician
With your steely eye of self-belief?
A master of attrition
A deliverer of grief?

What about my maize?
Where is the grain they sent?
Somewhere in your gaze
Your mind is dry and bent

You troop out from the trees
Rampage in the sun
As far as anyone sees
Rip out the roots and run

Would you drive a motor car
A black Mercedes Benz?
Following the crooked star
Your hatred never ends

So baboon will you go away
Leave us to our hope
I don't care what you have to say
Don't bind us with your rope

Take your friends and disappear
In the shadows of the night
You have no words I want to hear
And I have no will to fight
