I feel your touch

I Just feel your touch,
its like rain drops
and when I blink
they roll into
the corner of my eyes.

I suppose I've been
a mess for a while,
the leaves are falling now
I still gather them
and count your happy days.

This is like writing letters
except there is no
celestial postman
and the wind still whips,
I stuck the letter box
with sticky tape;
your letters don't get sent.

You are the mist of my mornings
and the downpour of my nights;
Summer was only an echo
and Autumn, it came so soon;
I just feel your touch

Lots of very satisfying lines and images. Certainly felt this way before when things changed before I was ready for them to change.

The last stanza is simply achingly beautiful.

Lovely imagery... I esp. like the first stanza and the verse "they roll into the corner of my eyes"

You speak so powerfully of the majesty of loss. Its grey grandeur and lofty darkened halls. A almost prescient examination of self in its most unguarded aspect.
