Cinch Finch

There once was a bright little finch
Although it never grew an inch
It could sing such sweet song
With never a note wrong
For the finch this was just a cinch

a cinch of a finch in a pinch
tried to get out, inch by inch
along came a cat
wily and fat
whose eyes were clawed out by the finch

(it was either that or the cat ate him, but you seemed to like the finch so i gave you a happy ending ;)
