Second Coming?

bowed

like a turtle

no face

just hands

beseeching

acts of grace

from the pavement

 

could this

be Jesus

come again?

 

isn't He

a nuisance

for the comfortable

too?

I've encountered mendicants and penitents before also. Their honest outward expression of defenseless pleading to God is a thorny reminder that I have denied what they have not.
