The Day Waiting

Waiting
for the day
to begin,
Will it ever lighten up
into then

Or is the distance too vast
that which binds you to the past

Has become the beginning and end
Although I was hoping the thickness might thin

Into then
will it ever lighten up
to begin,
for the day
waiting.

Made me feel like I understood the distance... the hope for better to come about for yourself or for someone much loved, I see both perspectives in these words. Very nicely put, enjoyed reading this.

Take your sunshine with you everywhere, this way you don't have to wait. You will find the day greeting you always.

Nicely penned poet!
