The beauty of English , is that you chose to create words. And poetry is the medium for all of that. I thank Lawrence Beck who's work , got me to thinking. And this work resulted.

WHAT IS

What has been said cant be unsaid
What has happonde cant unhapponde
What is cant unside
What is writ can not be unwrit
What is going , is gone , can not be ungone

Then we have to move on

Agreed. On the other hand, as William Faulkner said, "The past is never dead. It's not even past." We drag it with us as we go on.

That is all true, but emotions can linger. You write about WW1 which is long gone, but something wants you to have it never forgotten. Emotions do linger. :-)
