A little poem I thought of earlier today in the park.
I love December as it gets colder but people just smile more and more as we get closer to that joyous day:)

Winter Sneaks Upon Us

Relaxing on a park bench,

the sun shining through the trees,

yet the air is cold,

people walk by smiling,

as an aura of winter is sneaking,

getting colder each day,

soon the snow will start falling,

and the joy of giving,

and the joy of family gathering,

will be upon us,

as December roams on,

we all can feel the energy of it all,

what a warming feeling it is,

December is upon us.

It's refreshing to see a very positive poem about Christmas for a change. True, there's a lot of commercialism in the season, but I'm all for any excuse to be kind to our neighbors, eat a sumptuous meal, and get presents :)

December and the feeling of the holidays are definitely upon us.
Simply told: It's that time of year.
