The Water Goddess
At the Sikh Temple, I slept
Dreaming of the river born Indians
And moaning over all the world's beauties
The skies sang and smiled at me
I smiled, without looking at them
The stars mumbled in the deep cloud
And everything seemed like dream
But they were no dreams

Near Jammu River
In the morning, I stood watching the peopleSome went with foods
Some went with drinks
All were offered to Jammu
The Water Goddess
