Had decided to take in to her care - babys and children
None of her blood - chose them as her family - they chose her
As mother - aunty
Babys - children all a lone -the babys - children - parents dead
Or among the disappeared
When the chance came to escape
Those who could - went
The the girl - I should say - the woman
Decided to stay - stay a live - to keep the bairns - live
Should - she her self- die - so be it - saving - the young ones - she would
come what may! so be it!
Her sisters and the others '' said to her
'' Come on '' , lets go'' , '' wont get this chance again , girl!''
She said: '' No! '' , '' I cant desert - abandon these baby's - children again! ''
'' I'm staying with them , I'm goner look after , love , them! ''
'' You go if you must , I'm staying! ''
When later , she was interviewed , by a journalist
The journalist listened to her story
As she told her story- she hit chest with her fist
'' How could I desert them - those baby's had only known desertion ''
'' In their short lifes ''
She said with the passion of her commitment to her charges
The twist in the story is - she's a committed Muslim
The babys - children all had Christan parents!
P.S: It maddens me , that a royal sprog dominants the news. In the UK , and across the world. When others such as those in my work! Are , given so little exposure and due recursion!

SHE WAS JUST SIXTEEN
She was just sixteen - Nigerian - A MuslimHad decided to take in to her care - babys and children
