FROM THE DARK INTO THE DARKNESS

From the dark into the darkness
No sun - no moon - no stars
Only a the light from a flickering candle
After the result
The chattering class just chatters
Saying nowt of note
Dont see what is coming our way
Your way
That England* is heading for the abyss

Of a time that will be of day and nightmares
Stalking the land
A time of not trusting any one - family
Doubting - questioning friends

Trust none afraid to say out - fearing - repercussions
Some one reporting you to the authorities

Paranoia - stalking
Fear that the T V is watching - filming - recording you
With today's technology - TV - could be doing just that!

Technology - on auto - watching recording your every moment
Programming your mind!
No human involved!

In the national interest - privacy - civil liberties - freedoms
Sine die - until further notice

Big Brother indeed watching - listening in on you!

The future - is almost with us!

In this work it is of England I write. Each part - country that makes up Britain. Has there on story to tell.

It's a scary world now, Ken, I agree. There is a bright side to it. The more they try to see, the less they're able to notice. This has become apparent in the US. Everybody's being spied upon. Every phone call is monitored, yet still, somehow, the authorities are surprised when the next bomber or shooter appears. They won't see or hear you, Ken. They have neither the manpower nor time.

Hm this makes me think of how prevalent the use of CCTV cameras all over the place in England is just a way of life.... not really sure how I'd feel if my society operated in the same way, to be honest... anyway, that's what your text made me think about... hope I'm not way off course. *hugs* xx
