WALKING IN SHADOWS

He staid in the shadows
A haven for him
With in them he felt safe
Staying away from the scorn
Ridicule of others
Many made it clear - they found him
An embarrassment
He'd know be his to injure
He just know the score by now
Behind the eyes of the masks
What behind them he know what
Secretly lay
He'd come to know they and he
Belongs in the shadows
And there he'd remain
Coming out - but stay unseen
Do what he had to
Then slink back - hopeful unobserved
Then back to the safety of the mind shadows

Very mysterious and makes you wonder who it's about. The person behind the scenes lurking but pulling the strings. Very good Ken.

Maybe. One never knows what someone else is thinking. One only knows what one thinks the other is thinking. The other may be thinking, "I like that guy. I wonder why he's always drawing away."

Great work Ken.
The shadows a haven... yes from the scorn.
Terrible tho that one would feel that way or be made to.
