Ether and Flame

In the ether, when I knew you by another name,
We inflamed our love, I felt the coarseness of hair
Floating, as I was satin then and cream.

I poured into silk and cotton as overflowing,
We licked and liked, my butterfly bones
Melding into yours, you massaged

And I felt your ego filling up my veins,
When I knew you by another name,
Ingrained you, spelling names in margins.

You were my lover and I was the eyes that shed,
Bled shameless tears, you stroked the
Subtle V and I was lost, carelessly so.

Vapour and trails, silver lines of tissure
Your masculinity was fine hair and friction
And I was done, burned and scored to hell.

Ivan R
Really a hot, steamy poem, so powerful, so much!
Great*

This is very nice, Elle. Usually, your poems have fairly short, clipped lines. This one's lines are long, sort of languorous, and steamy. What fun!

this poem and your last poem are so good, and i know you say it's all "tosh," but they're really good. they work for me for the physical sensations they induce. whether the sensations are this or that doesn't really matter. getting some kind reaction, other than solely intellectual, is how i judge writing, even if it's nothing more than a smile or a nod.
