looking for my smile...its gone resting in my heart

Sedimentation

my smile
it tells me more than
i tell to myself
its movement reveals
more to me than i would care to bare
its displacement is puzzling even to me
but it shifts itself still
i know muscles are responsible
and they belong to me
but not my smile
it plays a nice hide and seek with me
but that doesn't bother me
for i know its always there
seeking me out
peeping in from the eyes
stretching out from its corners
at times crinkling my nose
rustling to the lips
waving over them
settling itself as if to nest
and yet soaring wide
winging far, losing its way
and returns to heart
there it settles to rest
also to outstretch in its flushing warm non stop stream
the smile sediments
on its travails
with no airs
and i also stop bothering it
i know it will rise again
with the sun

I really liked this. It's so sad, still the glow is always underneath.. beautifully written
