EMOTIONLLY CONSTIPATED

Unable to shed tears - just wont come
Knowing how bad life is for many
Knowing their lifes will only become
Worse
Knowing nothing I can do
Only speak out - hope some will listen

Wars waged all over the world
Thousands of refuges tread the their way towards hope
Only to have those hopes dashed
Many take to the sea - guided by the same stars of hope
Only to find the stars an optical delusion
Baby's - children lifeless body's - washed up on tourist beeches

Voting - against - nothing to vote for!
Lies pedaled - confidence tricks of the politicians
The press - propaganda sheets - just shits - who write for them!
T V &Co , just as bad - maybe even worse!
Miss reporting - selective editing - audio - video - reports - distorting
The news - some - many - damned rite lies!

The Corporations - rule - dictating- multifunctional
Decide - who lives who die - just how many
Governments - the corporations - mouthpiece
Wars to bring about The Corporation plan
Profits - greed - rise
The masses pay and pay - till no more can they pay
Then go with out - hungry - starve
Turn on each other in every way - thief - murder - and all of that
The Corporations - shrug - don't care - and why should they!
Life can and will only get worse!

I am so emotionally constipated - and is it no wonder!

Very well written my friend. The days are so dark for so many now. People have less humanity now than any time in history I believe. They are happy to live in comfort and ignore the suffering of others. War used to be a great leveler of people. Now it is all about economics. It is sad indeed.

Ken, you write very convincingly of a troubled weary and unloving world. That its reality is a sad fact. I'm with you in not knowing how to make any positive change. Maybe it all has to come crashing down before it can be rebuilt in a more sustainable model. Your thoughts alsawy force me to think... Thanks for that!
