Life Without Happiness

Its a horrible
and lonely life
without someone
to love or someone
to love you
Life has no enjoyment
without intimate engagement
Life's strongest
foundation is love

The darkness is deeper
and the winter is colder
Without someone to love
or someone to love you

Emptiness
is a powerful thing
causing so much sadness
and pain
Without someone to love
or someone to love you
Living is life
Without happiness.
