Update: For any teacher that may or may not have read this: this is what I think. Direct complaints not to me, but to someone who cares. Read over the Constitution. There is a guranteed freedom of speech, and I made full use of it. Thank you.

Of School (and the tragedy of those afflicted by it)

French is boring,
but it's a chance to goof off,
I'll get out of it,
faking a cough.

It's not the teacher,
she's not that bad,
she's pretty loopy,
and that's pretty sad.

I have to deal with it,
every other day,
get me outta there, s'il vous plait!

--But that's the start, of just acting cool,
the luxury coffin,
that is middle school...--

Civics used to be,
my cup of friggin' tea,
'till I reached this year,
and I got a big, fat C.

But it's almost over,
this history leecher,
and I finally made peace,
with my Civics teacher.

--Science class,
eh,
it's not that bad...--

English is a great class,
'till you get this teacher,
just another example,
of our middle-school preachers.

He listens to ZZ Top,
even though he's a dork,
and pocket-protecting,
is his favorite sport.

But the most hated class,
the worst of all,
is just a casual stroll,
and a left down the hall.

It's Yearbook class,
that is my biggest ditch,
we have nothing to do,
and the teacher's a...erm...witch.

You might ask,
why I'm stickin' it to the man,
that's why I'm gonna ask,
that you stick up your hand.

Sing with me,
the pledge of anarchy,
of schoolyard jants and taunts,
disregard for all to see.

--I pledge allegiance,
to the flag,
of the working-class man,
and I encourage,
all my peers,
to take a fighting stand,
and when people ask,
with curious eyes,
why I do these things,
I'll turn, smile,
and stick up the one,
next to the ring,
not the pinky, mind,
the one that's not nice,
but I'll end up,
paying the price,
and on the day,
on which I die,
I won't shudder,
I will not cry,
I'll throw back my head,
and laugh with glee,
at what this life,
has thrown at me,
with Liberty and Justice for all,
including my peers,
I'll say these words,
with eyes of leers.--

Fun read. Well maybe not for some of the teachers. You'd be surprised how some of them would even appreciate this!
