This was written for a prompt in my creative writing class to write something based off of a stock image (possibly a post card) of a couple walking by a beach.

infinite oceans

we walked hand-in-hand
by the infinite ocean,
though our hands
be clasped tight,
infinite oceans of distance
lie between our destinations

Well done, you have the ability to read between the lines.

As was your last poem, this one is very well paced. It appears as if you're getting something out of this class.

Very nicely done! The poem surprised me. I through you were going to take the opposite view. Something about how the couple's love had survived the storms, but I like the surprise. :)
