you know i feel there a lot of masochism in the way he said it, if he has. Words like bitter tears, obeying conscience, separation from family are really sad. i dont deny this happens in our lives but putting it like that does not impart strength in difficult times. aint it full of negativity?
He was a National leader. People were in awe of him and followed him. dont you think all that he could have said was that "life gets better when we live with a clear conscience" and should have left it there. each one decides what is important and what is not.

:-) i did not intend to judge what is good and what is not or what is worthwhile and what is not. it is very personal. thats exactly the point.
we all condition or trick our minds into believing something, sometime or the other to justify what we would have done/doing, to ourselves. most of the times we mask our fears with a comforting belief.
there is a very fine line. its intangible and difficult to prove. we can see it only if we can assess oursleves in an unbiased way, without any self-defence and possess the courage to deal with it.
