but there was a kids' magazine
called Dynamite
circa 1977 or 8

the Hanley kids and I
started a Dynamite Club
known only to the four of us
(there were but three Hanley kids back then
Annabelle came later)

Evan, oldest Hanley, was the president
Sam, a year younger, the vice

I was the treasurer and secretary
and Julia (only 6 at the time)
a "Member In Good Standing"

I can't remember what we did
other than congratulate ourselves
on being members of a Dynamite Club
we all carried cards provided by the magazine
it must have been important
