2 Kenilworth Road

Aunt Lou and Uncle T's address
in the '70s, my grandmother's sister
and her husband, their yard fenced in
with tall grey stakes, tall as myself,
green grass with all manner of pebbles
and stones, bland and grey, mottled
and beige, some half-dollar-sized,
most smaller, which I dubbed Eurekas
(I had heard it meant "I found it!")
as I gathered them in a margarine-tub.
