I returned once more to the North to see again that rare enchantment I found in the soft land. And I saw her but once more as the setting sun swathed her face with its radience. Yet, even that could not compete. How could my heart?

Once More by M.A.Meddings. 12th Paladin

Your beautiful face was an inspiration
Always
And through the enchanted time
I became captured
Your winning smile
Bringing a rapture
That weakened me
Yet
I scarcely realised
That your beauty
was so devastating
Until that night
As the setting sun tried to compete
With its radiance
And lost the battle,
I too lost my heart
once more.

You are truly a knight of words......very sweetly described till I am left to wonder whose beauty it is that is so devastating that even the sun's (oh my!) radiance is incomparable?????Very beautifully thought out.
