I put a dollar in the jukebox and played a Country song.One everybody knows and loves to sing along.
A song about a love gone bad; the singer, sad and blue.
It reminded me of how I'm missin' you.
Country songs ring so true
They hit home for me and you.
Each one tells a story
Of a life so real.
Country music makes you feel.
Some sing about the good times, the fun life can hold.
Some sing about our heroes, patriotic and bold.
Some sing about the working man and all that he goes through.
Country music is all about me and you.
Country songs ring so true

So if you never listen, give a Country song a try
Some will bring you laughter, some will make you cry.
Most will touch your heart in a special way
And you just may listen to Country every day.
