Love Life

I find romance in the song
Of petals
when they colour
The spring morning with
bursts of red and white
And in the fact you notice
And dance with it,
letting it move your heart and
stir the imagination.

I see romance in the
Lake that lips the forest edge
And mirrors the moon
And swallows the dark.
I also feel it in the breath
that gusts across the water
and whispers in my ear.
Romance dances in the
echo of your heart when it's
Moved by the dome of stars above
And the warmth of me beside you
Glowing in the chill night.

Romance is that which stirs the heart
And lifts you up to taste a moment of
Aliveness in motion.

Like music soaking us in sound
the romance is in vibrating together
and you knowing me well enough to
notice the quiver of my being
Feeling life
And in knowing you're part of it too.
The dance of this life.

How beautiful, and intimate. I love the imagery in the second stanza, the lake and moon and breath.
