Endurance

From Palestinian crusades to Hitler's parades
Endurance of the weak, the most public charade
With no guidance for the lost, no aid for the flayed
Endurance has since been, the asset of the weakest

For the rich make noise, the rich take a stand
The rich find ways that no mere thinker can
At the first command of general, the cavalry marches
A soldier's head isn't worth a drop of general's blood

As they learn from across the ages
Their fate is to suffer or turn to savages
Endurance as a victim or as a brute
For every weakling - a poisoned fruit

Learn to live and live to adjust
Learn to suffer to quiet your desires
Hold on to this imaginary stick
Endurance of today will put your dreamland in sight

From failures of life to broken hearts
The sensitive kind are always stampeded on
So if you are like me - the weak and the hungry
Remember that your endurance is your only liability

A poem for all times. As a revolutionary, I may not agree on the surface, yet deep inside, I know your words to be true.
Entrancing poem.
