Inspired by the proverb - If a tree falls in the forest and no one is there to hear it, does it really make a sound?

I hope you enjoy it!

Stillness

If there's no one to witness your thoughts
Build castles in the field of your neural networks
Is the field really fertile with ideas or dreams
Or barren and coarse as the sands of desert

If there's no one to witness your commotions
Build systems and break down old functions
Is the society really disturbed by your protests
Or cacophony of your cries breeds no tensions

If there's no one to witness your conquests
Of living on with hopes of everchanging protests
Is the collective existence really scarred by dystopia
Or it listlessly walks through the stillness of the oppressed
