To Leave

Quicksilver dance between the stars
(((((Within))))
We whirled lost as all the world was found
Wound by plastic, clocked, knocked by stickers, shocked
At how our book was so misread
Who took the time, who was misled?
Dressed up in stripes caught behind bars
((((Begin))))
Like leaves from some ethereal, astral ghostly tree
We climbed on stairs we did not see, what was there to see?
Only a haunted tune on lips in ears
Something slips away soon, what no one hears
Tears our parting souls in two as one we whirl and weave
The stars stand still as heavens will, Time for now to leave~
