Broken Scripts
Broken scripts too blind to read
Her lipstick lips all in red,
Time is taken aback a pale sky
Cries champagne tears
Pain bubbling like a blush
Audience scene to hush
Film is over but you never try
To hear the cheers
Just move the chairs,
Wait in lines too long to move
Once you are, no more in love
A ghost alone in your bed
Symbols woven Through with thread
Her lipstick lips all in red
Broken scripts too blind to read.
