Wraith
She passes by in silence. I look up,But only briefly. There's no point
To doing more than that. I start
To wonder once again what happened,
Why her eagerness to be with me
Abruptly ended, why she had her
Mother tell me “Stay away,” and
Left, but then came back again.
Did she do so to pass in silence,
Hoping I'll look up?
