Not the Man He Was

The saga continues. Our hero, now aged, sits down to a meal
Of reheated chicken. He dips it in Peri Peri sauce. Afterward,
He puts his plate in the sink and heads for a closet in search
Of a blanket. Quickly, he finds one, then sits in a chair, spreading
The blanket over his body. He closes his eyes, and soon is asleep,
Forcing his readers to this grim conclusion: the pace
Of the saga has slowed.

"...the saga has slowed"...as it must, sadly. This merry-go-round we call life ordains it so. But the quality of our hero's writing improves as it goes around/along. :o) Blessings, Allen
