THE LEAVES ARE FULLING!
Winter not far awayThe trees reddening
Shedding their leaves
In preparation
People - wearing winter clothing
Wooly jumpers - coats - thicker socks - in heavy boots
Prepared for what winter has in wait for them
Thinking of winter festivity's - thoughts of summer holidays
Then there's the homeless - living day today night to night
Some hour to hour to hour - minuet to minuet - some will freeze to death
This winter
Then there are those living in poverty - unable to heat their home - or eat
There are those - who will be found dead - when spring arrives - fly's informing
That someone has been dead for months and months!
