Rain

Rain fell last night
Unexpectantly
It's patter on the deck
A snare riff
Or rather a staccato
Rim tap without rhythm
Anticipating a resolution
To an arhythmic beat
that never evolved

I agree with both comments on the beautiful articulation. To me rain on the boat reminds me of static on a radio and hoping the roof doesn't leak.:)
