Grab Your Bag

The train will leave the station soon.
Perhaps you'd like to ride it.
It's proven very popular
With others who have tried it.
The cars move swiftly over plains
And into rolling hills,
Past factories and shops.
And homes with flowered window sills.
The seats are clean and cozy.
There are cold cuts you can buy
To eat, and raise your weight and spirits,
As the hours fly.
You'll see some of the passengers
Converse throughout the ride,
But others, I am one of them,
Prefer to look outside,
And savor having left one place
For somewhere unexplored.
If all of this sounds good to you,
You'd better get aboard.
