Into One

It started with a million suns all melting into one
Like a somber night of candlelight ceremony burst
Through foggy windows, opaque grades of amethyst jaded
Ghostly shadows rose in smoky spirals onto streets where traded
Souls began to barter for the moments sacred as life itself suppose
Someone else other than self were even as rising you were
Wishing for
Something or
The other,
When just like an image in a magic mirror this illusion appears
Dressed in sweet silken embers burning like a memory to be
Pressed in cornfields and rose gardens running into forests undreamed
Of lover, you held her as though it would never be over
Again,
Like a somber night of candlelight ceremony burst
It started like a million suns all melting into one.
