Forever, Once


A life that seems forever once

The voice speaks a word into an inner ear

Reality appears to be

Lights shine for untold miles along shorelines

See the sights that are there to see

Make sure of nothing, when all is done

An open door knocks there is someone

Who just may have been there all along

Like a magic trick a script in song

A hidden painting revealed, done

A life that seems forever, once
