the obese jolly Scot
sceptical and brilliant
making a living as an historian
making his mark as a philosopher
after laying the foundation
leaves the building of the infrastructure
to his dogmatic acolytes
the massively intellectual mathematician
the cricket playing worker
the Austrian genius short and sharp
leaving so much to the imagination
the tautologies of logic and mathematics
and verifiable empirical observations
taken together make up
all possible objects in the world

metaphysics, theology, and ethics
the dirty bathwater of the mind
and quantum mechanics
the new-born child of science
suddenly they have no place
goodbye bathwater, goodbye baby
