Nostalgia
Deer-in-headlight photographs of peopleWe no longer know, with season's greetings.
Awkward pictures of us trying hard to have
A good time down in Disneyland. Blurred
Images of soccer games, of newly purchased
Cars, of children growing, of them graduating,
Things which ought to stimulate nostalgia,
Some sad sense of longing, leave me without
Feeling, cold. I've been depressed throughout
My life, so nothing had much worth to me,
And nowhere's worth revisiting. The present's
Hard enough to face. Let's not discuss the past.
