With A Smile

Perhaps the world will be ending soon
She said,
Sometimes late in the afternoon
Inside windows of rain far from the yin of the pain
Dreams of Light may come dancing into this cocoon
Behind dark doors where silver butterflies scream
Your long limbs akimbo unfolding origami forests of Night
Baited breath singing armies of angels riding horses appear
Listen even closer than ever
She said,
Rise up to window and place a metaphorical elbow upon my sill
Face the whirling musical entity of it All if you will
See me in the Morning, take your time, have a while
Perhaps the world will be ending soon
She said,
With a smile . . .
