Prayer to God for the Bulgarian students and for the successful start of the school year.My God, our Creator! You have honored us men with Your image and have revealed Your wisdom to babies. You have given wisdom to Your prophet Samuel and Your anointed Solomon. To you - the eternal and divine Truth - we earnestly beseech you: mercifully look upon these children and send them the spirit of wisdom and reason, the spirit of knowledge and godliness, the spirit of Your fear! Open their minds to perceive the power of Your law and successfully study the good and useful sciences. Save them from any evil evil intent. Keep them firmly in the Orthodox faith, in spiritual purity and chastity, direct their will toward the fulfillment of Your commandments and the acquisition of good and useful habits. And so prepared by Your wisdom and by prospering in the virtuous life and useful knowledge, to be the bearers of Your doctrine, to live in peace, joy and all prosperity, and be honored to be the heirs of Your eternal Kingdom. Amen!
