A true story.
Because I hadn't learned her name, and also
Because she has a face which is a little
Flat, and round, made to seem all the more so
By glasses which also are very round. She
Seemed a bit strange, sober and quiet, and she
Dressed in defiantly unfetching clothes. I was
Intrigued, but never attracted until she drew close
And asked me a question. The badge on her shirt
Let me learn her real name. That funny round face
Proved to be truly beautiful. Her body thrilled me
Despite her odd clothes. I've begun to seek reasons
To go to this treat, more truffle than lollipop now.

Gabrielle
I called her The Lollipop Girl for months,Because I hadn't learned her name, and also
Because she has a face which is a little
Flat, and round, made to seem all the more so
By glasses which also are very round. She
Seemed a bit strange, sober and quiet, and she
Dressed in defiantly unfetching clothes. I was
Intrigued, but never attracted until she drew close
And asked me a question. The badge on her shirt
Let me learn her real name. That funny round face
Proved to be truly beautiful. Her body thrilled me
Despite her odd clothes. I've begun to seek reasons
To go to this treat, more truffle than lollipop now.
