A riff on a Pantoum Perhaps

Climate Change

Winter is now a sometime thing
As climate changes so does season
From rain to sun for no good reason
Then sun to fog to cold's crackling ring

As climate changes so does season
Predictability is out the window
Will we hear thunder within blowing snow
See daffodils in February's transition

Predictably is out the window
Staid old winter's now a Harlequin
Checkered now as warm and rime
No more the dormant frigid glow

Staid old winter's now a harlequin
Old memories found in A Christmas Carol
That warmed our thoughts as Yule logs roil
Out greenhouse gases once again

I like this riff! Wonderfully done! (And I think you might, if you like, post it to the pantoum challenge.)

There was one recent winter around here, 2011 I think it was, where the flowers were indeed out in February. Such a mild winter (which we paid for in 2015 with interminable snow!).
