Blessing by Peyo K Yavorov translated by Ann Wood

A cool whiff of angel wing ...
about an angel, about a child,
a marshmallow whiff of an angelic wing
in the midst of the sweat, my forehead is covered;
I have lost a tender dream ...
Dawn dawns outside.

Melody unearthly in the middle of the night,
about songs, about a child,
a tune magical in the middle of the night
a thought and lull comes to mind:
dawn is dawning outside
and the festive bears the bell.

My soul is sad and silent,
o tear, o child,
my soul is staring and silent -
and tears from her eyes quietly drop:
i listen to the festive party ring
in the morning sleep, alas, in the sleep ...
