When by Ann Wood

When I lose all games.
When I fall asleep from loneliness.
When the exits are closed to me
And the night will not leave me alone
When I'm afraid of silence.
When it's hard for me to get on my feet.
When memories rebel
And they bring me to the wall.
I will resist, facing everything
I will turn to iron to harden my skin And though the winds of life blow strong.
I'm like a reed that bends but is still straight.
I will stand, continue to live I will take the blows and I will never give up And even if my dreams are broken into pieces
I will resist, I will resist.
When the world loses all magic When my enemy is me.
When nostalgia crushes me. And you don't even recognize my voice.
When madness threatens me.
When my coin goes out. When the devil sees the bill
Or if I ever miss you.
I will resist!
I will resist!
