Oh, Yeah. I'm InspiredInspiration? What would bring it, more
Days like the ones this week with rain
At times and constant clouds, with swarms
Of little biting flies to force one back into
A house which magnifies the gloom
Outside? At work, I do my job alone,
Bent over, lifting heavy jugs of laundry
Soap from shelf to cart, then cart to shelf.
That kills my back. The news is all
Coronavirus, unemployment, stupid leaders,
Floods, typhoons and racial hatred. Still,
Memorial Day is near, the summer's
Unofficial start. The grills will be lit.
Crowds will gather next to lakes and
Swimming pools...if someone tames that
Dreadful virus, and the sun comes out.
