Hangs Behind

An invisible mirror reflecting ghosts hangs behind the wall
At the bottom of the stair are diamond stars attached to hidden wires
Back from a trip around a world that painted circles on her eyes, her soul
Merry-go-round circles of cycles since the beginning still spinning beyond control
Images impossible to imagine yet are now
Reflecting the hours of doubt casting shadows about a quicksilver flame
Lost in her frame thinking always of heavenly hosts drinking toasts to their name
An invisible mirror reflecting ghosts hangs behind the wall
