MY HOME TOWN OF RAMSGATE

Ramsgate my home town
Being a seaside town
Has attracted migration
Migrants from all of the U K
From over seas
Ramsgate has benefited
Greatly from all have settled
Bringing their coltcha & customs

Not so long ago while talking
Of migrants in Ramsey
As me New Zealand mate
Cals Ramsgate
Anyway I have digress!
I said: ' I'd not be surprised '
' If there's not at least one North American Indian living in Ramsgate! '
Well stone me!
Not long after that conversation
Would the reader believe it
I were informed that a man I got to know - were wed to a half Cherokee woman!

Fackt is England all over
The English
Is made up of migrants
Since before the ice ages
The melting of the ice bridge
Peoples from all over
With reasons only they know
In time sooner or later tell
Their story's
Have made their way hear
Long may that be so!
