Prayer of Exorcism

Begone, vile and copper Faced demon
Of golden treated locks bottled
Tawny countenance muffin topped silhouette
Insignificant hands and trailing tie
I cast thee out demon in the name of Justice
Peace propriety and common decency
Out of this long abused and suffering host
Who innocently called you from your filthy nest
In the misguided and unfulfilled hope
that change for better would be your opus
I drive you out to reside in the netherworld
Of cutpurses cowherds pondscum parasites
Scurrilous insects and other botches of nature
To await your condemnation and sentence
By thoughtful righthinking balanced folk
Who’ve suffered your ignominious slurs and lies
Your stock in daily trade these four
Long suffering and dreary Years past

In the words of the great American poet William (Smokey) Robinson, I second that emotion! Bravo!
