Tale of a Sale of a Sail Off the Rail
The initial exchange was pleasant enough
Seemed he was interested in making the sale
My email for details rather off the cuff
With the data in hand I took up an ale
The photos sent were inconclusive
I asked for more and designs as well
His email retorted was less that effusive
No more data it’s a friend’s mainsail to sell
I thanked him sincerely and passed on the sale
He emailed that I had been wasting his time
I suggested a sales course worth his while
A rough cob mood wouldn’t earn him a dime
