Meter? We don't need no stinkin' meter.
And adopt a white man as your pet.
They're a testy breed, as you might expect,
Having lost their former, unearned respect.
Noisy, they gather in circles and moan
About women and others whose powers have grown.
Prodigious eaters, they're lardy and rude,
But helpless. Most fail when they forage for food,
So, please, take one, and pledge to look after the thing.
They've been cast off in droves for the trouble they bring,
But be careful. They're heavily armed and they kill
Even those who accept them when no one else will.
